With a price tag thousands of pounds lower than its nearest competitor, the All-New Dacia Spring firmly establishes itself as the most budget-friendly new electric car available in the UK. But it's not just about affordability; the Spring is also positioned among the top 10 most affordable new cars in the country, regardless of powertrain.
Interested buyers can secure their place in the queue by pre-ordering now with a deposit of just £99 via Dacia's website. This move continues Dacia's tradition of challenging the high purchase prices often associated with electric vehicles, making EV ownership a realistic prospect for a broader range of drivers.
The All-New Dacia Spring comes in two trim levels: Expression and Extreme. Both options offer an impressive array of features as standard, including a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, cruise control, manual air conditioning, rear parking sensors, Media Control system with USB port, electric front windows, and remote central locking. This level of specification is remarkable given the Spring's starting price.
One of the most significant concerns for potential EV owners is range anxiety. However, the Spring aims to alleviate these worries with a usable range of up to 137 miles on the WLTP mixed cycle or 186 miles on the WLTP urban cycle. Charging the compact 26.8 kWh battery from 20% to 100% takes just four hours using a 7kW wall box, providing convenience and peace of mind for daily use.

The All-New Dacia Spring is offered with a choice of powertrains: a 45 hp motor or a more powerful 65 hp motor.
