The Dacia Sandero and Jogger emerged victorious, securing the titles of 'Best Small Car for Value' and 'Best Seven-Seater for Value,' respectively. This marks the third consecutive year for the Sandero's win and the second consecutive year for the Jogger, showcasing Dacia's unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional value to its customers.
Sandero Continues Its Reign
The Dacia Sandero has become a familiar face at the What Car? Car of the Year Awards, winning the 'Best Small Car for Value' accolade for the third consecutive year. Notably, this marks the 11th time that the Sandero has been acknowledged at this prestigious event, underscoring its enduring popularity and consistent performance.
The What Car? judges were effusive in their praise for the Sandero, highlighting its unrivalled value, practicality, efficiency, and specification. Steve Huntingford, Editor of What Car?, emphasised the Sandero TCe 100 Bi-Fuel version, noting its spacious interior, good fuel economy, and the ability to run on LPG – a more cost-effective option than petrol. Huntingford also commended the Sandero for being enjoyable to drive and well-equipped in the preferred trim.
Jogger's Back-to-Back Triumph
Following its success at the previous year's awards, the Dacia Jogger clinched the title of 'Best Seven-Seater for Value' for the second consecutive year. The Jogger, recognised for its space, usability, and equipment, successfully defended its crown in the highly competitive seven-seater category.
Steve Huntingford applauded the Jogger, stating that there is more to admire than just its price. He highlighted the car's ease of driving, ample space for adults in all three rows, and the recommended the Expression trim, which comes with convenient features such as keyless entry, cruise control, and rear parking sensors.
